5My Pretty Blue Kindle Fire Case
By Nichole Horton
This cover is so much better and really exceeded my expectations, here are my observations:

Pros -
1. Good Fit – allows access to the speakers/ports/buttons and a cover that is held closed by magnets
2. Stand Functionality – the rotating feature allows the cover to be used as a stand in either portrait or landscape orientation
3. Attractive – textured leather look with a very bright color
4. Good Quality – very nice construction

Cons -
1. Magnets – you have to close it all the way by pushing the spine for the magnets to grab
2. Stand – if you push too hard, it will fall over (though it is protected and won’t do any damage)

Overall the quality and features are great for this price. I highly recommend!

5Love this case!
By Brooke Donahue
This simple case works great! A lot of rotating cases use velcro, which I definitely did not want, so I was happy to find this one that uses a rotating mechanism. It’s easy to get the Fire in and out if need be, but there is no way it will fall out. Also, having three angles to choose from when the item is propped up is nice. The top angle does not work in portrait mode because it would be more than 90 degrees, but it works great in landscape mode. I am very satisfied with this purchase.

3Pretty Good (for the Price)
By Tina G
Fortunately, mine had no odor or sticky film as others had described. The color is bright and pretty. The leather “look” is okay but does not have a true look or feel of real leather, but for the price, one should not expect more.
My Fire fit perfectly with no problems. I have no issues with the magnetized closure that another reviewer had described. The access holes for speakers, power and headphones are perfect.
The side of the closed unit where the rotating mechanism is (which is also the same side as the branding design), actually ends up as the back of the Kindle Fire. You naturally tend to have the designed side up when you open it like a book and in doing so, you’re opening it backwards. That’s something little I guess, but for some reason it’s bothersome to me. Maybe a design on the other side would be helpful. But again, no biggie.
I thoroughly enjoy the rotating mechanism. It’s very convenient to not have to un-velcro the unit every time you want to turn it around. When viewing the Kindle turned landscape direction, all the “notches” work well in holding the unit upright. However, when in portrait direction (up and down), only the last notch (and sometimes the middle one) will hold the unit up. In the first notch position (which stands it up the highest), it’s not strong enough and it falls over backwards, so that is a little disappointing.
All-in-all, I would recommend this unit. The price is not bad at all, I paid $20.45. With a price tag this low, I can afford to have other covers and switch them out for a little variety… which I plan to do!
